Day 31 In transit

Another day travelling.  Penny drove us to Hereford station at 7.15 this morning, and it took us about 3 hours to travel by train to London, where we caught up with Alex to hand over possessions they left behind at Christmas time.  And then we spent another 2 1/2 hours on the Eurostar to Paris.  Amazing!

Our taxi driver was waiting and after a very hairy ride, we made the hotel.  The traffic was just manic - with everyone cutting in, particularly motor bikes, and brave cyclists riding up the middle of the road.  To say nothing of pedestrians who seemed to have a death wish!

We headed up the street for dinner, and then went for a stroll.  We discovered the Pantheon is about 10 mins walk from the hotel, and the view from there wasn't bad either.

No rain again, but it was fairly cloudy all day.  It was very mild when we were out for dinner - much milder than Canberra mid winter.
